COTTINGHAM, UK, May 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. William Anthony Donkin, Employee for Sunderland University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in science research.

With 10 years of professional experience, Dr. Donkin specializes in sports and exercise science. He takes responsibility in overseeing stress and post-traumatic distress disorder research, and leadership. Sunderland University is an education provider that provides research, sports and recreation. Prior to joining the company, he worked for Her Majesty's Armed Forces from 1976 through 1991. Over the years, he has developed a distinct philosophy on outdoor education and aims to ensure that everyone's ideas are heard.

Dr. Donkin received his Ph.D. in Exercise and Sport Science from Sunderland University, his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Northumbria University, with honors (1997), and a certification in Management Studies (1999) and in Education, both from Sunderland University (1999). He is a member of the British Association for Sport and Exercise Sciences, The Institute for Sport, Parks and Leisure, The National Coaching Foundation and Royal Geographical Society. He attributes his success to his determination and family background.
