McQuadeBrennan, LLP recently contributed $1,000 to Virginia Tech's Department of Accounting and Information Systems (ACIS) scholarship fund.

WASHINGTON, DC, May 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- McQuadeBrennan, LLP recently contributed $1,000 to Virginia Tech's Department of Accounting and Information Systems (ACIS) scholarship fund. The McQuadeBrennan scholarship was awarded to Michael Hayfer. David Swartz, a McQuadeBrennan client executive and Virginia Tech alum, presented the award at ACIS annual awards banquet on April 30th in Blacksburg, VA. "McQuadeBrennan is proud to contribute to this program that supports hard-working students, and one that facilitated my own achievements in the accounting industry," said David Swartz.

Thanks to loyal alumni and their employers, ACIS has established 50 scholarships benefiting approximately 120 accounting and information systems students. The Department has awarded over $200,000 in scholarships to qualified undergraduate and graduate students this year.
