Barbara Bidwell Gray Coombs celebrates twelve years with Miami-Jacobs Career College
COLUMBUS, OH, July 30, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Barbara Bidwell Gray Coombs, Faculty Member at Miami-Jacobs Career College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership, and excellence in all aspects of vocational education.
Proficient in all aspects of vocational education, Barbara Bidwell Gray Coombs has 13 years of professional experience. In her position with Miami-Jacobs Career College, she is responsible for teaching classes in computers. Mrs. Coombs has also been on faculty at Mount Vernon Career Center, a former division of Southern Ohio College.
Mrs. Coombs is the author of the 'Manual for Professional Paralegals and Legal Secretaries' released by University Publishing in 2004. She was also contracted by South-Western Cengage Learning to proofread the 15th edition of 'Contemporary Business Mathematics for Colleges' by Dietz & Southam — an experience she recalls fondly.
Mrs. Coombs holds an MBA from Rushmore University and a BA in history from Otterbein College. She is a licensed notary public in the state of Ohio and has certification in Microsoft Office. She also has certificates of achievement in Microsoft Office Suite by Teknimedia Corporation. Her professional affiliations include the National Notary Association, the Society for the Preservation of English Language and Literature (SPELL), the Modern Language Association, and Phi Alpha Theta History Honorary.
