Her desire to help people and make a difference in their lives prompted her to become involved in her profession.
NEWTON, KS, February 27, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Elizabeth A. Gatz, Assistant Professor of Nursing at Bethel College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of nursing education.
With an impressive background that spans over 21 years, Ms. Gatz specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. As an assistant professor, she is responsible for teaching nursing students, attending meetings and supervising staff. In addition, she works as a staff nurse at Newton Medical Center. Her desire to help people and make a difference in their lives prompted her to become involved in her profession.
Passionate about nursing, Ms. Gatz decided to enter nursing school and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University. Mother of six children, she went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and has started her doctoral studies specializing in higher education for adults through Walden University. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and volunteers for America's Future.
